You are invited to learn about an audacious vision that has captured the imagination of youth across the planet. It’s called Peace on Earth by 2030. It’s a BIG idea with a BIG plan to change the world and it’s working!
While the world’s conflicts are accelerating, a Peace on Earth by 2030 movement has emerged that is creating peace in our world – one person and one community at a time. Supported by 60 plus partner organizations, over 2,000 people have taken 52,000 peace actions impacting 1.8 million people across 21 countries. And we’ve only just begun.
They are doing this by playing a Peace Game and practicing its seven peace actions enabling a player to become a person of peace in their life and community. For this who wish to go further they are creating Peace on Earth (POE) Zones that weave together the social fabric of their communities enabling cooperation for the common good.
You will meet Mahbooba, Khatema and Suraya from Afghanistan who will share how they and 300 other young women forbidden to go to school by the Taliban are using the Peace Game to transform their lives and befriend the other.
You will meet Laetitia and Luthando from South Africa who will share how the Peace Game is transforming their university into a Peace on Earth Zone and helping students discover their common humanity.
You will meet Miranda from Crestone, Colorado who will share how youth playing the Peace Game mobilized their community to cure hunger in 2 years through empowering dozens of groups to cooperate for the common good.
